To start this day with a video, 5 minutes and 33 seconds of beautiful music and some images that will lead us into this essay on trust. The song Trust, the band, Cure.
Best to be listened with a coffee and ear phones... Enjoy : )
Mostly music but the lyrics start off with:
there's no-one left in the world
that i can hold onto
there is really no-one left at all
there is only you
~ Lyrics from the song trust by Cure
Have you ever felt that alone?
We all have I am sure but when we have faith at a higher level we should never feel alone.
Not writing about religion here just some spiritual belief that their is something more.
For me a Christian that is God. I trust, I believe but yes at times I still feel alone.
Maybe its not a trust in others at much as its a trust in ourselves.
The image in the video of a little girl walking a fence one step at a time thats trust in herself.
The next image a ballerina in pose with confidence and trust in her training, ours of practice and training in front of a mirror.
Does the girl ever fall? Probably she has but she gets back up and walks that fence again.
Does the dancer ever stumble in her dance, sure but she practices and tries again until she perfects it.
Thats how we get trust, in first believing in ourselves.
A man who doesn't trust himself can never really trust anyone else."
- Cardinal De Retz
United States Currency states 'In God We Trust', but we have also have to trust in ourselves, in the common good of decency and in love for one another.
We are all one nation, one race, one and all we are after the same.
Love, Joy, Happiness, Security, Laughter, Health
To trust is to share in what comes from within.
Share that smile and make a difference.
Share that laughter and pass along the joy.
Share your love but always love you first.
Smiles sent your way today and everyday : )

Your Daily Prayer
Lord thank you for being there and allowing us your children to trust in something more than just ourselves.
Help me always to have love and trust for myself.
Help me to always share that love and trust for those around me.
I thank you for the gift of my family, my friends and for the gift of life.
I give you praise and the glory for all of that
Protect us and guide us to make another persons road more easily traveled.
With a kind word, a kind deed or just a simple sincere smile.
