All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered;
the point is to discover them.
~Galileo Galilei
A simple statement is it not? All truths about living with a smile from with in and sharing that smile with those that we are around. The magic of that smile and how it can be passed on and on.
A simple truth about the power of gratitude in ones life. How living in gratitude can be a life changing attitude that can enhance our emotions, our relationships and our children and future generations.
A simple truth about how laughter has so much to offer the world. How great comedians have presented their craft to the masses and how we have laughed and enjoyed every minute of their performance.
Yet we stumble with the truths of life. Don't we? Maybe not with all the truths of life but yet we stumble with many.
I read an article yesterday about our neuroscience community discussion on is free will real or just an illusion.
The article is here written by Eddy Nahmais :
Interesting thoughts and I encourage you to form your own opinion and even that is free will is it not? Your choosing to read this or you choose not to.
So I guess you know my opinion already on free will. Yes we all have it and yes God wanted it that way. We choose everything and to consider that we are just creatures of instinct or pleasure seekers that can't choose anything is hard for me to accept.
We will take a closer and deeper look at free will in a post down the road. But I wanted to share the thoughts now with you.
But today is for some thoughts on discovery. Discovery of truth and understanding them to make our lives better. Not just your life but the lives of other.
How do we pass these truths on, we share them.
So many people have deep rooted passions on religion and faith. So many have been chased away not by God and his word but by others who have judged, pushed hatred, and brought anger to the soul instead of love, compassion and healing.
That is a reality seen over and over again.
Religion has caused wars, caused people to throw stones and hate.
The very act has caused more strife than bringing together with love.
Sure we have rules in the scripture. But it seems that some pick and choose instead of living the word of love and allowing God to judge our life and our deeds.
We will get further with love and compassion and empathy than we will with judgement, hatred, envy and anger.
Just another simple truth not all have discovered.
With that I leave you this day. Smiles sent and love and laughter along the way : )
Enjoy your day everyone!
