: o ) Jodi Picoult,
Change of Heart
We all know that bad stuff happens to good people. We see it all the time. Hopefully not all the time with ourselves of course. But do we know that good stuff can happen in that dark period of time and the only way we may be able to see it is when our light is brighter than the darkness around us.
You can stick a candle and light up the darkness. But you can't stick the dark into the light.
Love it! Do you get that, do you hear the words telling you to keep your light, your spirit, your heart, your mind bright, well lit and out of the darkness. Catch that for its very real and can change your day, your week and your month.
Let your light and your smile and your laughter brighten up your darkness that you may be walking through. We all go through the tough times, but we don't stop, we keep on, keeping on and we walk through the valley. We walk on.
Life is good, and life can be great if you 'will it' to be. You have to grab your candle and your match and light the flame so that you can get on with your life. Life happens and we make it happen for ourselves.
Share your smile! Share your laughter! Share your love with the world. Let your light be the guide for someone who just may be out of matches to light their own candle. Maybe they dropped their match on the floor and they can't find it in their darkness. Maybe they have some gremlins that say their not worthy of the light, they are not important enough to be led out of the darkness. Be their guide. Be that spirit that smile that says your important enough, here is my light, follow me.
Just understand that we are all in this together. All of us. Some our candles are burning bright and some have yet to be lit. Show them your candle and flame and what it does and share your flame.
Smiles to you this day....and everyday ........ : ) Enjoy it !
