Why worry can be a Waste of Time : ) ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Day 5 of 365 ~ 01/05/12

``Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow;
it empties today of its strength.''
~Corrie Ten Boom

How powerful the action of worry.  So debilitating  and exhaustive to our human desire to succeed.  But yet many will start the year with clear and expressive goals but for a reason unknown to them they will fall short.  Not because of being lazy, no.  Not because they have a lack of knowledge, not that either.  But because they have the energy flowing in a poor direction.

Worry is one such direction.  The more we worry the more the power is sapped away.  The desire burns dim because of the lack of energy as well.  Our best intentions to make our life better falls away because of the worry that we have from past results or deep rooted beliefs.

How do we pull out that deep rooted beliefs?  With one hard pull over and over until they are removed.

How do we get over past results?  By understanding that the past is left for history books and that the history is shut off once we turn that page in our life.

Turning the page in our life, is that always easy?

Pulling deep roots in our garden or in our life, is that always easy?

The simple and quick answer is no but we need not give in or give up.

Steps to freeing our self from worry and those deep rooted beliefs from past results.

Step one:   Begin with a clear slate

I know sounds easy does it not.  But in fact the one thing you must do is clearly think about starting with a clean and clear purpose.  Forget both the past mistakes and the future will take care of itself as long as you take care of the present.

Step two:  Take time each morning for you

If your focus for the first 20 minutes or 1 hour of the day is on you then you can start to understand your daily plans and objectives.  If you just take 20 minutes to get your heart, body, mind and soul going then you will indeed put your best foot forward to your goals and desires.

Step three:  Ask yourself:  "The thing that I am doing right now, taking me closer or farther from my goal and desires?"

Easy to say of course but is watching the news or that mindless TV helping or hurting your progress.  Is it adding to your life or is it taking away from your energy source.  Moving ahead or lagging behind?  Tough questions but questions you should ask yourself each time you have the chance to alter your course.

Step four:  Self talk what is yours?

What are you saying to yourself?  Listen to that inner voice is it positive or negative towards your being.  What could you be saying that will pump you up with more energy and not take away that energy that you need to win and stay focused.

Step five:  If you don't think you can do it, then you must.

Ok, first off think safety and think with a clear sense of purpose.  What do I want to do today that will get me closer to my desires and then once you understand the answer from the better question, if your answer is I can't do that then you must.  Think of the possibility of a positive outcome.  Think of your mind, body and spirit completing the task at hand.  How would that make you feel?  Imagine your past worry dissipated right in front of your mind.

Final Step:  Understand that each moment is fresh and anew.

We are all in control of our outcomes and with true perseverance you will allow your plans to come to fruition.  One step at a time and one belief at a time.

This day, today may it start with a smile and end with a smile and gratitude deep within your spirit. Enjoy your day : )

The new affirmation for the week fits nicely here:

I embrace this new year and I am grateful for everything that is shared with me.  I succeed with ease because the energy flows with me, this energy aides me as I step further into the year.  I effortlessly acquire moments of kindness and love.  Love is all around and I am blessed to share my love and kindness with others.  I choose to share my smile and my laughter as it improves upon the landscape of life.  I always have the power of choice.  I choose to make a difference I succeed in making a difference daily.

This week 98 words to inspire and to affirm each day.  Say these words of magic a few times and allow them to flow into your mind and subconscious.

Watch the power of these words.  The power of I choose.  The power of now and today.

Use these words to make your day and the day of others a bit better.

Smiles as always sent your way.  Today and always. : )

Your Daily Prayer

Lord, thank you for today and all the possibilities that lay in front of me

Thank you for this year and another day of life and a chance to make a difference

Thank you for the gift of family, of love, of understanding.

Bless our families, our friends, those in need of hope and faith may be in some way help to inspire their lives.

Help them to construct a plan for a path of increased gratitude, enhanced desire to create a environment of more laughter and smiles.

May we have the insight to understand that we are in charge of our product that we produce

May we also understand that worry must always be replaced faith and understanding in our abilities

We have the ownership of the thoughts and actions that we present on life's stage.

May I choose to make a difference in the lives of myself and others.

May I share a smile, a sincere smile and perhaps a kind word or deed.

May I give thanks more.

Show  appreciation more.

To share to be that beacon of light.

To share a simple sincere smile.

To reach out with our hands and arms to help another person get a foot hold once again.

I give you praise and the glory for all of that

With humility and gratitude I thank you

Today I will enjoy what gifts and blessings have been given to me.

Today I will share my gifts with others.

Amen

Sharing a smile ~  Sending you love ~  Pass it on
