I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
~Groucho Marx
Our results come from what we choose, not what others choose for us. Thats a fact. Some may disagree, but look closely before you choose to disagree. Thats right your choosing right now to disagree, that is if you are in that end of discussion.
Some may say how did I choose to have this illness, or disability, or this bad hair cut or whatever. How did I choose that? I did not pick that and say this is what I wanted.
First off the statement 'bad things can happen to good people' falls into place. Life happens, all the time life happens.
But how will you respond? We will choose the response.
We choose.
We choose the reaction to the action nature will take. It rains and storms, some people choose to play in the puddles while others get a raincoat or just stay out of the rain.
We choose to hide in our homes and watch the television endlessly or we get out and walk and see the nature and production that unfolds 24 hours a day called life.
We choose to be angry at others decisions at our workplace and complain when truly all we have control of is our own actions and results. We choose our responses to life's inputs.
We choose.
So the new year is upon us. Three plus days and counting. What will we choose to unfold in our lives.
Do you want to quit smoking?
Do you want a better outlook on life?
Do you want to laugh more? Smile more? Enjoy nature more?
Do you want to pray more and give more gratitude to the energy that surrounds us all.
Law of attraction is it real? You be it is. Like does attract like. So what will you attract this year. How will you handle an opportunity? What requests of the world will the energy of the world support? Requests of love and kindness ? Requests of hate and resentment?
We choose.
Do you intend to apply your choices for the greater good of the circle of influence you maintain?
Do you intend to have a different outcome for January? February? March? What will you choose that will make your year different and not just different but better for you and those you love?
What choices?
What will you choose?
We choose our thoughts.
We choose our results.
Now in fact there are many steps in between those thoughts and results.
Steps like planning and analysis and adjusting and education and failure and more adjustments of plans. All these steps with action and energy and motive and intent will get you results that you desire.
So what is your motive? What do you want to be improved upon in 2012?
For me I want to make a difference for my family, for my friends, for those around me.
I want to laugh more, smile more, share more, pray more, enjoy more of life.
I want to be loved for who I am and more importantly what I will become.
I want my dreams of financial stability and growth to be each day improved upon.
I want you the readers to share their comments that I will post. So we can discuss and enlighten and inspire.
I choose to take action today on my thoughts and dreams for tomorrow.
Today is your planning day, your day of choice. What will we choose?
We choose ! !
The new affirmation for the week fits nicely here:
I am full of love. I am a creation made to contribute and share that which I am full of. I choose to share love. I choose to share a kind word. I choose to share a simple sincere smile today. Tomorrow I will do the same. I am a perfect creation. I have the power within to make a difference. I choose to do make a difference today.
This week 67 words to inspire and to affirm each day. Say these words of magic a few times and allow them to flow into your mind and subconscious.
Watch the power of these words. The power of I choose. The power of now and today.
Use these words to make your day and the day of others a bit better.
Smiles as always sent your way. Today and always. : )

Your Daily Prayer
Lord, thank you for today and all its majesty and beauty.
Thanks for the gift of our free will may we all choose wisely.
Thank you for the gift of family, of love, of understanding.
Bless our families, our friends, those in need of hope and faith may be in some way help to inspire their lives.
May I choose to make a difference in the lives of myself and others.
May I choose with wisdom and discernement and in your will and instruction.
May I share a smile, a sincere smile and perhaps a kind word or deed.
Show appreciation more.
Expressing the real reason for the season and even though it has past may I keep the spirit of love and joy and sharing alive and well.
Not just for this time of year but for everyday. Help me understand the power of contribution and how it can effect others. Not just in the short term but long term.
Help all of us to become better givers of self.
Help us to become the gift that this world needs.
A bit kinder, more gentle, more in tune with the power and influence we really do all have.
To share to be that beacon of light.
To share a simple sincere smile.
To reach out with our hands and arms to help another person get a foot hold once again.
I give you praise and the glory for all of that
With humility and gratitude I thank you
Amen
