Little Billy watched, fascinated, as his mom smoothed cold cream on her face.
"Why do you do that, mom?" he asked. "To make myself beautiful,"
said his mother, who then began removing the cream with a tissue.
"What's the matter?" asked Little Billy. "Giving up?"
You have to love kids, they say the funniest things with pure innocence and honesty. Now I am not saying the timing is perfect but you have to admire the delivery.
As we grow older we learn that saying what little Billy said would get us nothing but grief. So we do learn and get better with age. Like fine wine in the cellar : ) we improve.
Each new year comes the fresh opportunity to improve upon the previous year. To do better, improve upon and utilize the tools that will make better use of your talents and maybe even improve upon the other talents.to .
Focus on your talents, make them better, stronger and more effective.
Feel good about what your bring to the table, take time to recognize your strengths.
We all have things we can improve upon but understand the things you do right and move forward.
Just like that bottle of wine in the cellar, it improves with age, gets better and when opened and used can bring smiles and joy to those you share it.
Take time to improve with your new year that lies ahead.
Smiles sent your way today and may joyful moments linger everyday that comes our way!

The new affirmation for the week fits nicely here:
I embrace this new year and I am grateful for everything that is shared with me. I succeed with ease because the energy flows with me, this energy aides me as I step further into the year. I effortlessly acquire moments of kindness and love. Love is all around and I am blessed to share my love and kindness with others. I choose to share my smile and my laughter as it improves upon the landscape of life. I always have the power of choice. I choose to make a difference I succeed in making a difference daily.
This week 98 words to inspire and to affirm each day. Say these words of magic a few times and allow them to flow into your mind and subconscious.
Watch the power of these words. The power of I choose. The power of now and today.
Use these words to make your day and the day of others a bit better.
Smiles as always sent your way. Today and always. : )

Your Daily Prayer
Lord, thank you for today and all the possibilities that lay in front of me
Thank you for this year and another day of life and a chance to make a difference
Thank you for the gift of family, of love, of understanding.
Bless our families, our friends, those in need of hope and faith may be in some way help to inspire their lives.
Help them to construct a plan for a path of increased gratitude, enhanced desire to create a environment of more laughter and smiles.
May we have the insight to understand that we are in charge of our product that we produce
May we also understand that worry must always be replaced faith and understanding in our abilities
May we also understand that worry must always be replaced faith and understanding in our abilities
We have the ownership of the thoughts and actions and may we realize that strengths that we do possess that can make the most difference in the lives of others.
May I choose to make a difference in the lives of myself and others.
May I share a smile, a sincere smile and perhaps a kind word or deed.
May I give thanks more.
Show appreciation more.
To share to be that beacon of light.
To share a simple sincere smile.
To reach out with our hands and arms to help another person get a foot hold once again.
I give you praise and the glory for all of that
With humility and gratitude I thank you
Today I will enjoy what gifts and blessings have been given to me.
Today I will share my gifts with others.
