On Abundance ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Volume 2 Issue 18 Day 352 of 365 12/18/11

I feel that I have such an abundance in my life, and once

you've seen how many people suffer and how

little it takes for you to actually change

their lives for the better, it's hard not to do something.

~Wendie Malick

Just got done celebrating Christmas with my kids.  What an awesome morning. Christmas music on the television and snow falling outside the window.  It was great.  I am grateful!

This year has been tough for many of us and for this we can look back and say we endured.  We have the strength and faith and knowledge to endure.  Life is what you make it and we choose to be happy! Many things to acknowledge and understand that we are in control of our happiness.  I am grateful!

This will be perhaps the first time in many years that I will be alone for the holidays.  I have shared much with you about my year and one thing that I enjoy with writing I can look back over the year and years and see how I have endured the loss and enjoyed the many things that I have created.  I am grateful!

I love being a dad!  I love my kids with all my heart as I am sure you all do.  There is so much to be happy for when you can shape and mold a young mind and enjoy in their growth.  They are great kids and I am so happy to be a part of their daily growth.  They enrich me!  They fill the home with laughter and joy!  They are unique and special and have a wonderful gift of love that they share with me each day.  I am grateful!

So the music plays on the jingle bells, the white christmas, the sound of love and the season fills the room.   I love it.  The sounds of the season, the smiles of joy as the kids opened up the presents.  How grand and how expressive.   I am grateful!

Abundance, do you have it in your life?  You bet you do.  If you look around and I mean really look around you have much. You have so much to be grateful for.  So very much to share and to reflect upon. So much to do and the year 2012 awaits you.  Its coming, it walking into your life are you ready for it?
Are you ready for the challenges 2012 will bring?  How ready are you?  Have you started your goals and planning to achieve and dream big this year.  How ready are you?  The year is coming, 2012 with all the smiles to share, kind words to speak, compliments to give.  I am grateful!

The affirmation for this week:

I live with an abundant attitude.  I appreciate what surrounds me, I see love and possibility in everything that is presented to me.  When challenges confront me, I welcome them because I see growth and opportunity.  It is a new chance to share in my knowledge of appreciation and love.  I am grateful for everything that brings me love and joy.  Love surrounds me.  Joy flows freely from my spirit.  I am grateful!  I appreciate and look forward to the new year and I will live in gratitude for all that I have.

93 words this time.  The word love used 4 times.  Should be used more and that is something we should all work on this new year.

Trust in these words this week,  Say them, repeat them and each day watch the shift in your beliefs.

Words with power, with emotion and words that will help affirm your design of a better you.

Use your mirror time and face time each day to acknowledge that you are loved and that you are truly grateful for all that you have.

By your creator, and by the reflection in that mirror.  You are loved. Take the time for you!  It is within you right now to make your day more joyful, happier, and designed the way you choose. Its your turn to act!

Smiles as always sent your way.  Today and always. : )

On Staying the Course ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Volume 2 Issue 17 Day 351 of 365 12/17/11

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.
 Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
 Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some
unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.
Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.
 Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten.
Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.
Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

~ Mother Teresa
Do it Anyway

It is always hard life right?  No it is not meant to be hard, in fact we make it hard.  We often want to please everyone and end up pleasing no one.  Why?
Because we by nature are a giving person.   When we are  a young child we wanted to please our parents, our friends and as we grew older we wanted not only to fit in but we took chances to stand out.
Some of course don't want you to stand out, they are afraid they are not going to measure up, they want to hold you back or at the very least even with them. They fear you will leave them or that your success will no longer demand time spent with them.  Is this always true.....no.  Nothing is always factual for every situation however, the fact is people love to cheer on the underdog in life but they will always follow the best.
Its best sometimes to help the underdog. Teach the underdog and make that underdog your friend.  You will indeed find loyalty in that friend because most cheer for them but most abandon them.
When you stand out in the sea of frowns as I like to call it others may wonder your motive or intention.  What others think about you is none of your business. Remember that?  Smile anyway!  Choose happiness anyway.  Love and care and share anyway.  In the end you will be happy you chose the way you did.
Stand out and stand up in the sea of anxiety.  Stay calm and poised and ready to step in for that moment when you can be that light for others.  They are watching you, they may be grumbling, complaining, anxious and angry but they are watching.  Stay your course, stay on path and love the life you have chosen to live.
A life of dreaming big!  Staying hungry and staying foolish.
A life of sharing that sincere smile!  Always knowing that the next smile shared may make all the difference to someone.
A life of sharing in laughter!  You will breathe deeper and your laughter will be contagious.  Share it and watch the light in the room grow brighter and full of energy.  Laughter can heal and it can be a powerful too against anger and fear.
A life of hope and belief in the good this world has to offer.  Never become cynical.  Sure is there bad in the world yes but often it is very misguided and overblown by the media and news outlets.  There has always been evil in the world but when we position ourself and surround ourself with the love of our creator and the power of his word we will become in that good place, that safe place and we will be able to discern the negative energy before we become part of it.
Stay in your warmth of prayer and daily meditation and stay in your Gratitude Attitude and watch your day unfold.  Start your day with positive words in the mirror and self talk that is only energetic and full of love for yourself and the world.  Stop being that negative energy and start to let your love flow endlessly.
Is this all possible?  Of course it is and if you stay the course and live a life that is worth living record it.  Get your journal or your computer fired up and leave behind your story.  Leave behind a record or your children, and their children and for those who really cared to come back to.
A life worth living is a life worth recording!  Stay the course : ) Smiles to you and our weekly affirmation placed here for you  : )
I design my life of purpose.  I will use the power of love and mindful words to help in my design and direction of a life of purposeful love.  I will not quit, I am successful in everything that I create as I create with intention to make a difference.  I am a winner, I am loved and I will share in my abundance of love to empower others.

Trust in these words this week,  Say them, repeat them and each day watch the shift in your beliefs.

Words with power, with emotion and words that will help affirm your design of a better you.

Use your mirror time and face time each day to acknowledge that you are loved.

On Being Loved ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Volume 2 Issue 16 Day 350 of 365 12/16/11

To love someone deeply gives you strength.

Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage.

~ Lao-Tzu

Is that not what we feel when we acknowledge that we are loved by our creator.

We indeed feel courage among many other things, we feel empowered and strong.

When we look in that mirror and see ourselves can you say you truly love yourself?  Courage comes from that self love and appreciation as well.

Being loved is a human need. It gives us so much significance.  It strengthens us.

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a

sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and

being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.

~ Oscar Wilde

If you truly can wrap around your head that your a creation from the highest then you can understand that you were created with a purpose and perfection.  God makes no mistakes.

If you can truly understand that your always being loved then the warmth and richness in your life will always be present.

Now take this a step forward how do I share this warmth and richness with another.  Who at this moment does not get that understanding.  Maybe they don't believe in a God, maybe they feel empty from all the pain they currently feel or maybe they are just numb to it all.

So how do we share in this knowledge?

Be the love and the light for them.  Share a simple sincere smile, filled with richness and warmth.  Give a moment to say a kind word, share a laugh, open your heart and give something that may spark another persons light from within.

Share and care about another persons right to be loved.  It is a right just like the right to breathe, its a need.  Share and care today.

When we give love we also will understand that being loved is just as important as giving love.  For when we give it will surely give us warmth and richness.

No one can truly love you, if you are not truly loving you!

Fall in love with you and you will discover what being loved is all about.

~ Author Unknown

True enough.  We must first understand love of self before we can be loved by another.

We must first love ourselves before we can share and care with others.

On a personal note here I truly write each day in hopes to share thoughts that flow through my fingers.  It comes out with ease and I truly believe that it is meant to inspire you the reader to stand out in the crowd, stand up for the weak, stand up and know that we can make a difference one smile at a time.

A smile shared, a kind word given, a laugh or maybe just a kind deed.  It all matters. Thats why I write.  I know it matters.  It is my love I share with you : )

So the weekly affirmation :

I design my life of purpose.  I will use the power of love and mindful words to help in my design and direction of a life of purposeful love.  I will not quit, I am successful in everything that I create as I create with intention to make a difference.  I am a winner, I am loved and I will share in my abundance of love to empower others.

Trust in these words this week,  Say them, repeat them and each day watch the shift in your beliefs.

Words with power, with emotion and words that will help affirm your design of a better you.

Use your mirror time and face time each day to acknowledge that you are loved.

By your creator, and by the reflection in that mirror.  You are loved. Take the time for you!  It is within you right now to make your day more joyful, happier, and designed the way you choose. Its your turn to act!
