Climbing Higher, Pushing Forward ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Day 67 of 366 ~ 03/07/12

Climbing Higher, Pushing Forward

Life can be kind and life can be rude but still we push on because if we stand still we miss out on the rewards pushing forward can give us.  Of course we all have limits but what are these limits if we don't push on.  : )

What are our limits?  Do you know, do you really know?  The only limitations are the ones that we place on ourselves.  Simply stated the higher we climb in life we will need to understand more to achieve that next level, but thats what asking better questions is about.

When we ask better questions about anything we will get a better answer and solution.  A solution that will get us from being stagnant to growing.  Living a life of excellence instead of dying in a life of mundane.

Nobody wants to live a mundane life, maybe a simple life, nothing is wrong with that but that is their choice.   We all can dream of a life of riding horses instead of cars, or lighting a candle instead of turning a light switch on but imagine if you would those who rode on horseback getting tussled around by the wind or storms and wishing for a better way to stay warm and dry with comfort in mind and a quick way to get around.  That dreamer led us to a train or car and then a jet plane.  They wanted more and they pushed forward for more.

We all need to 'Think Different' as in the Apple commercial clearly explains.

Staying Hungry when others tell you it won't work and you keep pushing on.
Staying Foolish when it fails but you try again even when others say it is a waste of your time.

Thats progress in the human spirit.
Thats what Goal Achievement Spirit  (G.A.S) is all about.

So whats your dream?

Thats what we think upon tomorrow.  Whats your Dream?  So I share that title of tomorrows post not just to give you a tease but to get you thinking now.

Whats your dream?  What do you want to achieve or make better in your life.  In the life of others?  Whats your dream?

Dream big don't stop short here just brainstorm your ideas for 10 minutes or so.

What do you want for you?  In your personal growth, your families growth, your spiritual growth, your professional growth.

What do you dream about?  Whats your dream?

Just some thoughts and as always smiles sent to you this day and everyday.

New Affirmation for the Month of March ..... Use it daily and feel the change in you.

I walk with confidence and understanding towards success.  Born into a perfected state I strive to achieve my intended purpose, to love, to share and care for self and for others that come in contact with me.  I choose to be happy and share laughter.  Making a difference in another persons life for the better gives positive and ever flowing energy into my world.  I am focusing on my goals, the this moment goal, this day, my weekly goals and monthly goals I achieve because of my spirit and focus.

Daily Prayer for March

Thank you for another day in the world you created.

May my spirit inspire, inflate and bring joy and peace to another.

May I always speak my gratitude into the world and share my appreciation.

Guide me today to be wiser, more kind, help me to see deeper into this hurting world and perhaps give a bit of kindness to it.

May I always appreciate the nature that surrounds me.

The wind, the sunshine and the plants and trees that surround me.

Help me to understand that the energy around me is both helpful and strengthening.

In your word I seek peace and solace.

Thank you for another day.

On Imagination ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Volume 1 Issue 29 Day 332 of 365 11/29/11

Imagination grows by exercise, and contrary to common belief,

is more powerful in the mature than in the young.

~W. Somerset Maugham

***************************

Imagine for yourself a character, a model personality, whose example you

determine to follow, in private as well as in public.
~Epictetus

The power of imagination, if only we understood its power in our minds and collectively as a group.

Imagine rising up against the two party political system and saying no more will we limit ourselves.  To a party who uses a donkey as a symbol or a big elephant as the other.

Imagine rising up against child homelessness and saying no more and turning our empty landscape into facilities that not only housed the homeless but educated them and protected them from harm.

Imagine standing and saying no more to a welfare system that does not promote leaving it but puts walls around its recipients to make them feel safe and secure and why would they want to leave its safety net.  There is no reward on the outside only hurdles.

Imagine if only we stood up and said no more to this folly there is a better way.  Lets go in this direction.  Lets head towards empowerment instead of making people live in fear.

Live out of your imagination, not your history.

~Stephen Covey

Imagine what you really want for your day, your week, your month, your year.  Imagine, make it real, dream big and walk towards that image.

What is there to lose?  What is there to gain?  What is the possibility that the journey will be more than just a journey?

Some things to ask as the year 2012 gets closer some 33 days away.

Enjoy this day.  Enjoy this day for it is yours.  Make today count and let your imagination run free with no chains, no barriers and no limits.

As always smiles sent your way today and everyday! : )

On Making Things Better ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Volume 1 Issue 28 Day 331 of 365 11/28/11

"The most inspirational man I knew only

reached his potential by helping a child reach his."

~ Mitch Albom
(from the book Have A Little Faith)

Watched the movie last night, Have a Little Faith from the book.  Artfully done.  Awesome and inspiring.  It touches you if you watch it.

Faith in something bigger than ourselves.  It truly is about that and more.

What we care about we act upon.  When we share and care we start to make things better.

First with ourselves and then with the world around us.

We all have the power to make a difference but yet at times we get self centered, or just overwhelmed maybe with all that happens to us and around us.  But it does not have to be that way.

We start with the image in the mirror.  Looking deep within those eyes that stare back into the windows of our soul.  What do you see when you look deep within?

What do you want for others?  I know you care about others, deep down, you care.  Even if you feel others have ignored you, or give you no respect or care little about you.  You still deep inside care about them.

If you take the time to read this your really looking for that more in life.

Thats the first step is realizing that.  You want more for not just yourself but for your children.

Your family.  Your friends.  You truly want more.  You care and you truly want to share more.

The next step is taking time for prayer.  To give praise, to give thanks and to ask for wisdom and guidance in your daily actions.

What next?  Be still, listen to that small still voice.  It comes within many times and we ignore it.  We push it aside.

But its there.  Telling your and encouraging you to act.

Set your goals for what your truly want.

Set your plans and action steps.

Set time to monitor and reflect on the actions you have taken.

Forget the word failure.  You are getting an education on how to make your goals come true.

Don't worry about what others say about you ... 'it is truly none of your business what others think or say about you.'  Ignore it. Push ahead.

Stay hungry for your dreams and goals.
Stay foolish to push on and make them a reality.

Make a difference.
Share and care about another.

Dream Big and live to learn about what just may be missing in this world.

The desire and concern to Make Things Better.

As always smiles sent your way.... Today  and everyday  : )  Enjoy your day everyone : )
