The Tools at Our Feet ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Day 38 of 366 ~ 02/07/12

Do not wait; the time will never be "just right."

Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at

your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

: o )  George Herbert

Each and everyday we are blessed with resources that can make our life and the lives of others better.

Some resources slip through our hands to be lost forever and some we just leave lay at our feet.

These resources can also be called tools at our feet.  What are these tools just a simple list I hope you can reflect upon.

Tools placed at our feet each and everyday.

Time: a tool for all, 24 hours each day that can be used for ourselves to sharpen our skills or maintain what we have.  We can use this time to enhance our relationships or build up new ones.  Time so precious but fleeting if you woke up today, your been given the most important tool of all.

Humility: Realizing this gift and its importance in our life can open up so many slideshows in our mind of other gifts that lay all around our feet.  The nature that is everywhere, the beauty of a bird as it soars high above.   The song that it sings as it rests in the forest.  Humility to understand that we all can work together nature and man to make our planet much more pleasant and grand.

Patience: Oh what a gift we seldom use, we hurry and rush about sometimes getting few things down to completion.  We worry about things that never happen and wonder why it didn't turn out just right when if we only took the time to do it the first time, that task that turned out a little askew.

Laughter: It is to chuckle just to think about this gift.  My hope is that you use it often even if its just by yourself.   To laugh at life and see the humor of it all is perhaps the best gift we can give ourself.  To laugh, to help another with laughter because you shared it first.  What a wonderful way to spend a minute or two. In laughter with a good friend or a stranger how cool is that time spent.

Simple Sincere Smile:  Not a fake one or one painted on with make up.  But a genuine smile that comes from inside, that is shared with someone with pain they try to hide.  That smile can say, your special or that you care, but give one today and take time to prepare.  Not one smile but a few, take with you today, and give them all and get a fresh batch and be on your way.

These are just a few tools that I share with you.

May love and joy be a few more that you view.

Some of this had rhyme to spice up this post.

But all have great meaning and I was glad to host.

So a smile is shared with you as I do everyday just one more to carry with you as you go on your way.

Weekly Affirmation for this week.

My life has limitless possibilities.  I choose to live each moment with love and acceptance.  Every time I breathe in and breathe out I feel more at peace and powerful.   I choose with confidence my dreams and goals.  Only I alone can place limits on my success.  I am loved, I am grateful and I am designed to be successful in everything that I put my best efforts towards.  Successful and loving people come into my life today.

Enjoy your week, share a smile, share in some laughter and dream big and love always : ) Smiles to you this day and everyday
