Sad but true not everyone will see the power of happiness, or the power of gratitude that is spoken, even the power of goals.
I was married to one of those people. "Goals, I don't need to have any goals" or better yet what she put out to me I had a habit of reflecting back to her. You give what you get. It was sad how we could not turn it around, in fact she didn't want to turn it around. The ghosts and shadows from the past keep haunting her, may always be haunting her. Her email so long ago said she was in a happy place, and that we should move on with our lives, and so we do.
I am happy with that and I chose to move on to my happy place, it gets happier every single day. : ) As it should its my choice, always will be : ). The choice to be happy, to be filled with gratitude and to share a simple sincere smile to spread some joy.
Wrote a few years ago about the term 'Energy Vampires'. You know what they are right?
People who through actions, deeds, words, habits try to suck the energy out of you as a vampire from the horror movies would. But these vampires don't respond to mirrors, daylight or a cross. No they respond only to avoidance, abruptness, and time management.
We don't ever need to give them our time, just acknowledge them, understand their motives, smile and move on. Key word, move on, they could be working right beside you at work but you can still move on. Moving on with your task, your assignment or your focus on anything but letting them get under your skin. The Energy Vampire a real threat to our happiness and intentions of a great day!
So you have some thoughts for the day, may this day be filled with love, joy and laughter.
The new affirmation for you and smiles as always sent your way : )
I create joy and happiness in the time that I am given. Time is shared with those I care about and I freely give my gratitude to the choices I make. Choices to laugh, love, think, share and create that which will empower my self and others. I create joy and happiness and I empowered by those creations. Love follows me daily and I cherish its attention to my daily actions.
71 words that I hope starts to change your spirit from within. The spirit that says, yes we can and we should make a difference.
Enjoy your week, share a smile, share in some laughter and dream big and love always : ) Smiles to you this day and everyday
