“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes
but in having new eyes.”
~Marcel Proust
What we have is already here and it is truly all that we need. Our perception gives to us the perceived value. So to discover that our perception is everything in understanding our landscape is perhaps the first step to growth in gratitude.
Gratitude is everything to me. It is understanding that life is a gift and a precious resource. The nature that has been created for us is unlimited. The birds of the air and the creatures of the land are here for us all and the cycle of life has its purpose.
The seasons and the renewal of the earth from winter to spring to the freshness and flowering of summer. It has its own discovery each and every year.
We all must have new eyes to discover these truths.
What we have right now is more than enough.
We never complain or try to hoard the air that is around us, we have discovered long ago its enough for everyone.
We never worry will the water stop to flow, will the ocean run dry, no we know there is enough for everyone.
The time that we have, both you and I ticks on. We can choose to isolate ourselves and worry that our time here on earth will run out, and it will one day. But how poor the line of sight in these old eyes if we choose to look at life with this concern.
No we must look at our time here on earth as a gift, as a precious gift that we will enjoy and trust in the message below and live our life to leave behing something that will live on.
The smiles we have shared, will live on. If not just for the small changes we made during our life because of them. They will live on.
The laughter we have shared, will live on. It will echo in the minds of those it has been shared with.
The love we given will live on. From the mouths and hearts of our children and from the life we have dared to live.
Stay foolish and Stay Hungry our friend Steve Jobs shared with us. Don't live life driven by others whims and beliefs. No choose to live life with your own values, and hunger. Your plate should always be full of your dreams and goals and wishes for something more.
Dream Big, not small dreams mind you. No, dream big. Imagine the possibilities that lay ahead. Choose wisely your steps of course, don't run towards the dream unless you have a passion for it.
A dream that has no passion in it will soon fizzle out. But a dream that you want, desire, have a passion for its completion will be much easier to run with and not get lost in life's storms.
Yes the discovery is in your eyes, it is already here. You just need to bring it life in your world.
Smiles sent your way... Today and everyday : )

Your Daily Prayer
In gratitude I come to you today. Humble yet proud to be a part of this world. Help me to discover all the beauty not just in nature and those things given freely and abundantly. But those things that are every day happenings that seem so trivial but have so much meaning.
Help in my discovery today of what already is great in my life and help me to share my love, my laughter and my smile.
Amen
