On the decisions we make ~ Smiles and Inspiration 2012 ~ Volume 1 Issue 5 Day 309 of 365

We are the creative force of our life, and through our own decisions rather

than our conditions, if we carefully learn to do

certain things, we can accomplish those goals.

~Stephen Covey

Indeed we make decisions every day don't we?

We decide if we want to eat breakfast or not?
Eat healthy or not.
Drive the speed limit or not.
Go to work on time or arrive late.

Sure we all have decisions and sometimes they are easy and sometimes not so easy.  Its even to get lost in the process and stutter step and decide not to choose one way or the other.  We freeze up at times.  Maybe its fear or maybe we worry about the path we choose.

Imagine standing at the edge of forever, the sun setting ahead and wondering if you chose well in life.  A very sad stand wouldn't you say?

A friend once told me how many summers do you really have left in life?

Wow, put that, how many summers are we even promised in life.

But to put in another way to have a door open and decide not to at least look and investigate, pray and meditate, how many doors do we let slam with out really taking a closer look.

Asking better question and your answers will indeed be much better because of it.

But we must decide, we must get off the fence and step forward.

I also heard it once stated that we are either growing in life, in our faith or we are dying.

That is a fact.  I often wonder if we all would not be happier if we decided to accept one another, not agree with everything but just accept.

What if we tolerated and lived our life with a smile, with joy and with laughter and we had our value but we refused to be baited into a war of words, or a war of hate.

What if? Hmmmm....
